‘Toman’ to premiere in France

Iranian feature film ‘Toman’ is scheduled to launch international premiere, beginning with France.

Directed and written by Morteza Farshbaf, ‘Toman’ had its first screening at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

France-based Wide Management Company has acquired international rights to ‘Toman’ as it was previously in charge of global distribution of Farshbaf’s ‘Mourning’.

As stated by the director, ‘Toman’ will be probably attending the ‘Directors' Fortnight’ section which will be held in parallel to the upcoming edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

Mir-Saeed Molavian, Mojtaba Pirzadeh, Pardis Ahmadieh, Iman Sayyad Borhani and Hamed Nejabat are among the cast members of ‘Toman’.

‘Avalanche’ is another work by Farshbaf that was screened in Art and Experience cinema in Iran.
