Iran’s short film ‘Setin’ is set to attend the international film festival, "Miradas a traves del tiempo", in Uruguay.
Directed by Asghar Abbasi, the short film will compete at the Uruguayan festival.
“No house remains to exist without pillars,” a synopsis for the film reads.
Abbasi has made more than 20 documentaries and short films that brought him many awards at several Iranian festivals.
‘Setin’ is the first film in a trilogy themed on love, youthful passion and addiction that Abbasi has made.
Siamak Atlasi, Sima Khezrabadi and Alireza Saveh-Doroudi have appeared in the film.
The international film festival, "Miradas a traves del tiempo" will reportedly take place on May 21-23.
Earlier reports said the film would also vie at the 2020 BeBop Channel Content Festival in the US on June.
