ifilm to run ‘On the Verge of Happiness’

Brand new series ‘On the Verge of Happiness’ has been scheduled to be aired on ifilm English TV, the website for the channel has reported.

The new series, produced by Mehran Rasam and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, will start airing from Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

Written by Ali Khodsiani, the series is about Amir, a highly educated young man, who’s been down on his luck and hasn’t been able to find a decent job.

One day, his friend Hamid comes up with a scheme that can make the two of them rich overnight, but it ends up getting them into a whole lot of trouble.

Notable among the cast are Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Pouriya Poursorkh, Shahrzad Kamalzadeh, Mehdi Solouki, Amir-Hossein Arman, Soroush Jamshidi, Maryam Masoumi, Abbas Mohebbi, Shahrbanou Mousavi, Reza Yazdani, and Arash Nozari.

‘On the Verge of Happiness’, made in 2017, will replace ‘Zaferani’, which will be aired daily at 21:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the comedy on the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00 (all GMT times). The series comprises 15 episodes.
