Canada to host Iran doc

‘The Mannequins of Hassan Khan Castle’ is slated to be screened at the Montréal International Festival of Films on Art.

The documentary, directed by Sam Kalantari, will be displayed at the 38th edition of the Canadian festival.

The Montréal filmfest will host Iranian doc in a section dedicated to Iranian movies.

Produced by Documentary and Experimental Film Center of Iran, ‘The Mannequins of Hassan Khan Castle’ narrates the story of 15 plastic mannequins in a workshop.

The International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) is dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of films, videos and interactive and/or immersive works on art and media arts.

The 38th edition of the event is slated for March 17 – 29, 2020.
