In an attempt to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus, Seyyedi’s debut series ‘Frog’ halted production from the early days of the pandemic.
The star-studded ‘Frog’, which will produce for domestic home market, has been left with 20% of the shooting to resume later this year or for a time that hasn’t been announced yet.
A tag line for the series reads, “The world is a small place for me. Sometimes, I feel I’m choking. I feel everywhere is confined and I can’t breathe.”
Young and prominent Iranian actor Navid Mohammadzadeh has been cast to play in the flick. This counts as Seyyedi and mohammadzadeh’s fourth collaboration after ‘Thirteen’, ‘Sound and Fury’ and the award-winning hit ‘The Sheeple’.
Saber Abar and Sahar Dolatshahi also among the cast are two distinguished Iranian actors both nationally and internationally.
The rest of the cast list reads as Fereshteh Hosseini, Navid Pourfaraj and the director himself.
