Baqaee recovering from coronavirus

Iranian actor Behrouz Baqaee is recovering from the coronavirus, reports say.

Earlier this week, some news on Baqaee’s coronavirus diagnosis circulated on social media.

Iraj Rad, the chairman of the board of Iran’s Theater Forum, cited one of the actor’s relatives as saying that Baqaee’s health has improved, but would remain in self-isolation as he recovers from the flu-like virus.

According to local media, the actor was discharged from the hospital on Friday.

Baqaee was born on June 15, 1953 in Tehran. He began theater acting in 1973 before entering the world of cinema and television.

He has appeared in several TV series, including ‘Sarbedaran’, ‘The Spouses’, ‘The Green House’, ‘Apple for Laughs’.

Baqaee has also taken part in various movies such as ‘The Long Autumn’, ‘A Little Piece of Heaven’, ‘The Apple and Salma’.

He has also directed series like Shirin’s World’ and ‘The Kind Moon’.
