Rules for Golden Globe change

The Golden globe Awards has changed screening rules due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The newly announced modifications have been for the fact that all the screenings in movie theaters have been suspended in the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic.

The new regulations hold that the filmmakers that are to take part in the film ceremony need to make their films available to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) members through an online link or a DVD copy of the work. It must be done before December 31, which is the date on which the candidates will be announced.

Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association beginning in January 1944, recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign.
