American actor helps with Coronavirus testing

Two-time academy award winner, Sean Penn, has reached out to help with Coronavirus testing in Los Angeles.

The 59-year-old actor’s non-profit organization, Core, has partnered up with the city of Los Angeles to provide COVID-19 testing sites for the ones that are most likely running the danger of contracting the disease.

Penn first established this organization in 2010 in a humanitarian act to help those affected by Tahiti earthquake.

A number of other American actors have also stepped in to raise funds to help with those impacted by the pandemic. Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Leonardo DiCaprio have donated money for food organizations in Canada and the US.

Coronavirus appeared first in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December and has since spread globally. The World Health Organization has declared it a global health emergency.
