Iran’s short film ‘The Stopped Clock’ has been selected to compete at the 2020 edition of short film festival in the US.
Directed by Mina Sadat-Hosseini, the short narrates the story of a woman named Roya who is in a situation that may end in losing her husband, daughter, and job, among others.
The cast includes Solmaz Qasemi, Arman Azizi, Niknaz Zafarnia, and Aida Ebrahimzadeh.
The festival focuses on films that are directed by women or have strong and memorable female characters.
The fest runs on September 11-13, 2020.
