‘Istanbul Junction’ to come to ifilm

ifilm has scheduled to televise ‘Istanbul Junction’ movie on Saturday evening.

Written and directed by Mostafa Kiaee, the feature will hit the air at 22:00 GMT on April 04. It is also set to repeat three times the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 all GMT times.

A brief synopsis for the film reads, “Bahman and Ahad run a bankrupt clothing factory. Ahad is in love with Ladan whose father would not give his blessings on the two to get married. One night when she has run away from her dad, Ahad takes her to a shop inside Plasco building to spend the night. She is all alone inside the building when it starts to burn and fall down”.

The love story of the flick is fictional but the building did actually collapse in flames in the year 2017, resulting in martyrdom of a number of Iranian firefighters.

Bahram Radan, Mohsen Kiaee, Sahar Dolatshahi, Mahour Alvand, Mehdi Pakdel, Rana Azadivar and Masoud Keramati are some of the cast members of ‘Istanbul Junction’.
