Directed by Maryam Samadi, the short narrates the story of Rasoul who is a disabled boy living in a village.
Rasoul who believes in his grandmother’s tale about the healing powers of swans wishes to see one of them.
Once, other children of the village see some swans while fishing in the pond.
They tell Rasoul about the event and he decides to go to the pond with the boys and make his dream come true.
This is 16th international presence of Samadi’s short film.
Amin Mohammadi, Sara Dindar, and Shayan Khaledi are on the cast list of the film.
The Moscow festival presents films, documentaries and paintings that reflect Kurdish culture.
The festival aims to promote social and cultural exchange.
It also provides an opportunity for filmmakers to cooperate with each other.
This edition of the festival is slated for May 21-24, 2020.
