'A Trivial Thing’ to vie in US

Iranian short film 'A Trivial Thing’ has made into the competition program of the St. Louis International Film Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Seyyed-Morteza Sabz-Qaba, 'A Trivial Thing’ narrates the story of a young man whose wish is to become an actor and to go on famous theater stages.

The 12-minute short has already attended a number of global film events, including the Kanyakumari International Film Festival in India, the Merida Film Festival in Mexico, the Lift-Off International Film Festival in the UK, the 4th Venice International Film Festival and the Alter do Chao Film Festival in Brazil.

'A Trivial Thing’ is also set to go on screen at the 4th 1904 Deaf Film Festival to be held in the US.

The St. Louis International Film Festival aims to enhance cultural diversity by bringing American independent productions, horizon-expanding international films, and high-quality studio films to audiences before their commercial release.

St. Louis film event was supposed to be held in September but it will be held online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
