Iran actor voicing new audio book

Globally-acclaimed artist and ifilm star of ‘A Share for a Friend’, Navid Mohammadzadeh, has been voicing a new audio book ‘No Friend but the Mountains’.

The multiple award-winning Iranian star is narrating the new book written by Behrouz Bouchani based on what he has lived through his illegal immigration to exile.

The audio book is in production at Radio Gousheh Studio; and Bamdad Afshar and Hedayat Pouriya-Alemi are in charge of the music production of the work.

The book manifests the pain its writer experienced on his journey and the life he had afterwards. While exiled to a remote island in Australia, Bouchani penned his book. He then shared his writing with a friend who then published the book. The result of all these hardships has been well-received by its readers and in fact the book has gone for a 12th edition.

Born in 1986, Mohammadzadeh took his first cinematic role in Rouhollah Hejazi’s ‘Among the Clouds’. Since then, he has been in a number of flicks, some of which have gained international attention.

In 2017, his role in Vahid Jalilvand’s ‘No Date, No Signature’ brought him the best actor award at the Venice International Film Festival in Italy.
