‘There will be Spring’ wins in Germany

The monthly Berlin Flash Film Festival in Germany has honored Iran’s short title ‘There will be Spring’.

Directed by Saeed Bahman, the short film received festival’s honorable mention.

The short title narrates the story of a person tangled in an unusual situation with the pandemic coronavirus disease and the quarantine time.

Bahman’s short title was previously selected as one of the 22 top films at the international COVID-19 Film Festival which was held online.

Some parts of the short film were screened in the Stories of Humanity program that was broadcast from Canada’s Media One channel.

The only actor of the short film is Kasra Zagros.

The Berlin Flash Film Festival is a monthly online festival that celebrates short films.

The selected films are screened and judged by an international panel that selects the winners.

The latest edition of the event was held on May 31, 2020.
