UK to host Iranian short ’Braceball’

Directed by Reihaneh Mortezaeenia, the short title ‘Braceball’ has been selected to compete at the 2020 edition of the Ramsagate International Film & TV Festival in the UK.

The short film narrates the story of a disabled child who loves to play football.

Despite the fact that the boy is disabled, he tries his best to make his dream come true.

‘Braceball’ is a production of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society.

The short title has previously won the Best Short Film Theme Childhood award at the 5th Atlantic International Film Festival in Colombia.

The Ramsgate festival aims to promote film makers and cultural awareness.

The event includes an international program of seminars and events with high profile industry professionals.

The 4th edition of the festival is slated for June 11-14, 2020.
