Iranian animation ‘Light Sight’ has won Best Student Film at the European Cinematography Awards in Poland.
Directed by Moslem Tabatabaee, the seven-minute 3D animation won the title at the March edition of the Polish event.
“The animation has one character and one setting,” Tabatabaee told the media earlier on, adding, “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.”
The 3D animation has already won awards at scores of international festivals.
It won the best 3D animation award at the Social Machinery Film Festival in Italy in 2017.
European Cinematography Awards is a monthly film competition for filmmakers worldwide.It supports new and student filmmakers, who are just beginning their careers with a supportive and enthusiastic audience for their creative efforts.
