Iran short to cycle in Croatia

Iranian short title ‘Life Gone with the Wind’ has been picked to attend the SEFF-Smaragdni eco film festival in Croatia.

Co-directed by Siavash Saed-Panah and Omid Gharibi, the short title will be in competition at the 13th edition of the Croatian event.

‘Life Gone with the Wind’ is in fact the narrative of a senior lady who sees her life gone with the wind when she notices a kite flying around and going away.

Asieh Moradizar and Dina Arshadi comprise the cast list of the flick.

Although the number of international events that the short has so far attended is limited, it has succeeded to grab awards in some of its attendances.

It won the Special Jury award at the International Pathological Film Festival in Italy and the Best Film Award at the Roshd International Film Festival in Iran.

The SEFF is a travelling ecological film festival which aims to raise public ecological awareness by screening educational films.

This year’s edition of the event is slated to open on June 21 in Zagreb and to go on in some other cities of Croatia.
