Iranian VoD to offer new film

Iranian Video-on-Demand (VoD) services have scheduled to offer Kioumars Pourahmad’s feature film ‘Blade and Cashmere’.

The feature was originally slated to hit the silver screens in December, 2019; however, over the coronavirus pandemic the screening could not kick off.

The film will now be the third after Ebrahim Hatamikia’s ‘Exodus’ (Exit) and Parviz Shahbazi’s ‘Talla’ to premiere at domestic video streaming services.

‘Blade and Cashmere’ is a social flick with focus on women and their worries.

It narrated the story of a 26-year-old woman named Termeh, who lives with her uncle.

Some hidden secrets will come to light when Termeh’s mother comes back to Iran.

Houman Barqnavard, Pejman Bazeghi, Mehran Rajabi, Laleh Eskandari, Diba Zahedi, Maziar Khosravi and Kourosh Soleymani are among the cast members of the movie.

Popular Iranian vocalist Reza Yazdani has sung for some scenes in Pourahmad’s latest feature.
