Iran short to vie at Portuguese fest

Iranian short title ‘Blue’ has been scheduled to attend the Heritales-Heritage International Film Festival in Portugal.

Maryam Farahzadi’s short title will be among the competitive animation lineup at the 4th edition of the Portuguese event.

‘Blue’ is a narrative of accepting societal differences.

It shows how migration can impact people as they should try to convince others of accepting them regardless of their differences.

The short title has already attended a number of global events, including the ACT Human Rights Film Festival as well as the CBCF-ALC short film festival, both in the US, and the MigrArti Film Fest in Italy.

Established in 2016, the Heritales-International Heritage Film Festival aims to show the anthropological knowledge of different cultures.

It shows ways of life and rituals that form a culture.

The upcoming edition of the event is slated for September 24-27, 2020.
