Directed by Mirabbas Khosravinejad, the 10-minute flick tells the story of a little girl who wants to meet her father for the last time, but her mother and brother don’t let her.
Amir-Hossein Beiranvand, Mahdieh Ahmadi-Rad, Masoumeh Korkizad, and Alireza Baharvand have appeared in ‘Azadeh’.
The film has won honors such as the best short feature award at the 41st UNCIPAR international short film festival in Argentina.
The AMIFF is a multi-day event that welcomes independent filmmakers.
The festival is held annually at venues throughout Athens.
The Athens filmfest is scheduled for 12-21 June, 2020.
