‘Toman’ receives screening permit

Iranian movie ‘Toman’ is slated to appear on the silver screen soon.

The film directed by Morteza Farshbaf has received the screening permit.

‘Toman’ had its premiere at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

It bagged nominations at six categories at the Fajr festival and won the Crystal Symorgh for best cinematography.

The film narrates the story of a person who tries to become rich in one night by gambling on horses and football matches.

Mir-Saeed Molavian, Mojtaba Pirzadeh, Pardis Ahmadieh, Iman Sayyad Borhani and Hamed Nejabat are among the cast members of ‘Toman’.

‘Avalanche’ is another work by Farshbaf that was screened in Art and Experience cinema in Iran.
