Croatia to showcase ‘Khadhaar’

The 10th edition of the Supertoon International Animation Festival in Croatia has scheduled to present Iranian-Jordanian-German animated music video ‘Khadhaar’.

Co-directed by Zeina Azouqah and Neda Ahmadi, the music video will vie at the Supertune – Animated Music Videos competition of the Croatian event.

Billed as the biggest animated music video category of any animation festival in the world, Supertune brings 42 videos by some of the biggest music acts in the world as well as exciting indie and newcomer musicians, beautifully animated in a way that enhances and enriches the already perfect tunes.

The Supertoon International Animation Festival is a specialized event in short animated films and takes place every summer in Sibenik, turning the entire city into a bona fide open-air theater.

About 200 of the freshest, most interesting short animated films from around the world will be screened at Mala Loza and Gorica open-air cinemas on July 20-24, 2020 with all the necessary precautions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and public gatherings.

‘Eaten’ by Mohsen Rezapour, ‘The Eleventh Step’ by Maryam Kashkoulinia, as well as ‘Through My Skin’ co-directed by Pouyan Shadpour and Parastou Haqqi are the other Iranian titles to vie at the Croatian event.
