Venezuela to host ‘I’m not Alice’

Iran’s animated short title ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ has made it to El Ojo Iluso Animation Film Festival in Venezuela.

Made by Mahdieh-Sadat Ahmadi-Soleimani, the short title will compete at the 1st edition of El Ojo Iluso, the Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported.

The film is about “a girl who is involved in the problems of her time and at the end she surrenders to the birds of her painting.”

‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ was named among the silver winners in the Best Short – Animation at the 3rd quarter of the 2020 season of the Queen Palm International Film Festival in the US.

The first edition of the Venezuelan event will take place on July 24-25, 2020.
