Iranian filmmakers win in India

Iranian filmmakers Saeed Nejati, Amir-Hossein Anvari and Parham Rahim-Zadiani have grabbed two awards at the Eternal Ray “COVID 19 lockdown short film challenge” in India. 

Nejati grabbed the Best Film Award for ‘Soldiers like the Storks’ while Anvari and Rahim-Zadiani won the Second Best Film Award for ‘Prisoner’.

Nejati’s short film narrates and something happens that becomes the subject of the film.

The Eternal Ray was held by Last Monk Media for the occasion of 100th birth anniversary of famous Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray.

The festival is an opportunity for showing thoughts, ideas and creations.

The Eternal Ray program focused on the coronavirus issue.

June 18th was the last day of submission and the winners were announced on July 11.
