Iran’s short en route to Bangladesh

Iranian short title ‘Third Person Singular’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the International Inter University Short Film Festival (IISUFF) in Bangladesh.

The short film, Negar Abbaspour’s directorial debut, will compete at the 12th edition of the Bangladeshi event.

‘Third Person Singular’ narrates the story of a young musician who loses a competition despite his high hopes of success.

Now, he must make new decisions for the rest of his path.

Keyvan Parmar and Farzan Jalali are the cast members of the flick.

The flim has so far attended a number of international film events, including the VGIK International Film Festival in Russia where it received the jury award.

Starting from 2007 and organized by Dhaka University Film Society in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the 12th IIUSFF scheduled its online screenings over the coronavirus pandemic for July 28-30, 2020.

Iranian award-winning short title ‘Slaughter’ is the other film to compete at the film fest.
