Tokyo to host Iranian Film Festival

The 3rd edition of the Iranian Film Festival in Tokyo has scheduled to screen seven Iranian movies.

The films to go on the screen with Japanese subtitles are ‘Motherhood’, ‘Villa Residents’, ‘Azar’, ’18 percent’, ‘Sweet Taste of Imagination’, ‘The Painting Pool’ and ‘So Close, So Far’.

The third edition of the event will be held with the cooperation of Iran’s embassy in Japan, municipality of Minato City in Tokyo, Japan’s UniFilm, Federation of producers of Japan’s cinema, Farabi Foundation, etc.

Iran’s embassy in Japan has translated and subtitled 10 Iranian feature films to help Persian-learning students in Japan.

The Iranian Film Festival will take place on August 10-12, 2020.
