‘Intersecting Parallels’ likely to premiere at Iran’s TISFF

Iran’s ‘Intersecting Parallels’ is likely to premiere at the upcoming edition of Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) in Iran.

Media reports said on Thursday the film was undergoing its post-production stage and would be submitted to the TISFF at the deadline of August 21.

Written and directed by Reza Mohebi Nouri, ‘Intersecting Parallels’ is based on psychoanalysis.

It is about a familiar crisis -- which has been slightly addressed -- in modern life.

“He liked and was enjoying things that I don’t have the face to talk to anyone about,” a synopsis for the film reads.

‘Intersecting Parallels’ is starring Milad Aryafar, Mobina Tabaei, Saba Qazi and Seyyed Mehdi Mousavi Tabar

Organized by the Iranian Youth cinema Society, the Tehran International Short Film Festival is one of the oldest short film festivals in Iran and the region.

The TISFF is a member of the International Short Film Conference (ISFC), according to the festival’s website.

The 37th Tehran International Short Film Festival will take place on October 28-November 2, 2020.
