‘Heavy Shadows of the Crow’ wins in Italy

Iranian short film ‘The Heavy Shadows of the Crow’ scoops award at the sixth edition of the Corto e a Capto filmfest in Italy.

 Behnam Asadollahi's work received the special award at the Italian short film festival held August 18-23, 2020.

The short film themed on war and peace depicts five naked men who grow out of the soil in a flat desert.

Asadollahi’s short flick has been previously shown at the 10th Baku International Short Film Festival in Azerbaijan Republic, the 13th FILMSAAZ Film Festival in India, and the 2020 Gatffest Film Festival in Jamaica.

The Corto e a Capto fest aims to host films from around the world and aspires to provoke thought and inspire hope.
