Directed by Komeil Soheili, the 11-minute short film will be on screen at the Short Films competition section of the Italian film event.
‘Branches and Brushes’ is about a Buddhist monk in deep meditation in the forests far away from Soul the capital city of South Korea.
The doc has recently participated in the VIVA Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where it bagged the second best award.
The short flick has also been on screen at some other international events, including the Asia Peace Film Festival in Pakistan where the film was shortlisted among the finalists.
Since 1997, the Religion Today Film Festival has been dedicated to promote a culture of peace and dialogue between people.
The festival provides audience with a platform to watch different cultures, ideas and religious practices and beliefs.
The event slated for September 23-30, 2020 is also set to host Iranian feature film ‘Castle of Dreams’.
