Iran doc to vie in S. Korea

Iranian documentary 'Silent House' is slated to vie at the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival in South Korea.

The film directed by Farnaz Jourabchinan, will represent Iran at the 2020 edition of the event.

Produced by Elaheh Nobakht, 'Silent House' tells the story of a family in Tehran during decades.

The film will compete with 16 other productions from South Korea, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

The DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, as one of the leading international documentary film festivals in Asia, aims to provide opportunities for growing to Korean and Asian documentary filmmakers and to give a field that cineastes and audience together celebrate the festival through the documentary.

Starting from September 17, the 12th edition of the event will go on till September 24.
