‘The World’s Last House’ makes it to Nigerian fest

‘The World’s Last House’, a short film from Iran, is listed among the 2020 official selection of the Eastern Nigeria Film Festival (ENIFF) in Nigeria.

The 1st edition of the Nigerian film event will be showing Amir Qolami’s short film on November 4-7, 2020.

Produced by Mahmoud Kordestani, ‘The World’s Last House’ is an 18-min dark comedy about a man who attempts to solve the problems of the villagers. This is while another person is looking for a way to kill him with three bullets.

A tagline for the short film reads, “And death is the uninvited guest of the last house of the world”.

The cast members of the short film are Fereydoun Ansari, Mohammad-Raouf Mohammadi, Foad Mardoukhian, Ashraf Khalili and Arsalan Ghaffari.

‘The World’s Last House’ was previously screened at the 9th Riurau Film Festival in Spain and the 2020 Athens International Digital Film Festival in Greece.

The ENIFF is a platform for films and filmmakers to be celebrated and rewarded for their creativity and contribution to the advancement of humanity.
