Canada fest to screen Iranian animation

Iranian animated short film ‘Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves’ is set to be screened at the Montreal Festival du nouveau cinema in Canada.

Sadeq Javadi’s film will take part in the “P'tits Loups (Little Wolf)” section of the 49th edition of the Canadian event this month.

'Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves' was produced in 2020 by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in Iran.

It is an adaptation of a book of the same name by Ahmadreza Ahmadi.

The 10-minute film is about a bride who is awaiting her groom, with whom she is corresponding via a dove.

The 49th edition of Montreal Festival du nouveau cinema will kick off on Wednesday.
