The Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) has announced the opening date for its 37th edition as of October 28 to November 3, 2020.
According to the festival’s official website, a total of 4986 short films from all over the world have so far been sent to the international section of the festival.
The TISFF is one of the oldest short film festivals in Iran. The festival has been hosting well-known cineastes from around the world. It is also a member of the International Short Film Conference (ISFC).
Organized by the Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), the festival is held annually in the Iranian capital city of Tehran as an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the organizers are not yet sure about the format of the event. Both physical and online versions are possible.
