Portugal fest to screen ‘Bowl, Paper, Fish’

The Short Films Festival of Biodiversity (FIIN) in Portugal is set to screen Iranian animated film ‘Bowl, Paper, Fish’.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Bowl, Paper, Fish’, directed by Amir-Shahab Mahdiazdeh, will be featured at the 4th edition of the Portuguese festival next month.

The film is about two beach child vendors. One of them is a boy who sells live ornamental fish in a plastic bag, and the other is a little girl who sells paintings of sea fish.

The FIIN aims to promote the natural ecosystems and biological heritage through cinematographic and audio-visual works, according to an online submission platform.

The 4th edition of FIIN will open on November 16 and runs until November 22.
