The 23-episode series, ‘The Red Line’, will air on ifilm every day at 22:00 GMT, except Saturdays. Each of the series’ episodes will be repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 GMT.
Written by Sholeh Shariati, the Iranian series is of social drama genre.
It addresses the life of youngsters and was well received when it premiered about 19 years.
Despite the passing of time, the series is still popular and attracts the audience.
‘The Red Line’ is about a number of students who have fled their homes after they went through some problems. They agreed to travel to an unknown destination, but during their journey, they face unfortunate incidents.
According to critics, one of the strengths of the series is the acting of the cast, particularly Shahram Haqiqatdoust and Shahram Abdoli.
It is worth noting that Qasem Jafari was looking for unknown stage actors to cast them in his series.
Back then, Qasem Jafari was considering the now-famous Amir Jafari for his series, but he did not choose the actor for being a bit tall to fit in.
Another interesting tidbit is Iranian actor Hamed Behdad was supposed to take part in the series but was replaced at the eleventh hour by Shahram Haqiqatdoust whose appearance was closer to the character.
According to reviews, Hossein Riazian’s song featured in the closing credits of ‘The Red Line’ is also an added plus due to its rhythm and tonality.
We hope you will enjoy the series and are looking forward to receiving your feedback.
