Boston Women’s fest screening ‘Taxi is Here’

The Boston Women’s Film Festival of the US is screening Iranian short film ‘Taxi is Here’.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS) reported that ‘Taxi is Here’, written and directed by Sara Aqababaeean, is being screened at the 2nd edition of the American festival.

The film is about a woman who takes a taxi. Upon getting to know the taxi driver, she decides to share a secret with him.

The film’s main cast members include Shaqayeq Faryadshiran and Mehrzad Nour-Hosseini.

‘Taxi is Here’ previously received the Award of Merit at the 11th IndieFEST Film Awards in the US.

 According to the IYCS , Ghasideh Golmakani’s ‘Sale Ad’ (Agahi foroush) is also taking part in the Boston Women’s Film Festival.

The 2nd edition of festival is taking place online due to the coronavirus pandemic. It began on Thursday and will run until October 18.
