The ‘Resistance Prominent Martyr’ section of the RIFF, which will run the second phase on November 21-27, is mainly focused on portraying the sufferings of the oppressed people of the region, the resistance and popular victories, the issues of the resistance, and the role of General Soleimani in awakening and enlightenment of the people in the region and other countries.
The last deadline for submitting to the "Resistance Prominent Martyr" is October 21. The applicants can have their work focus on three different aspects, including dimensions of Martyr Soleimani's personality as a model of Islamic resistance and awakening, explaining the moral values, bravery, and epics of the martyrs of the resistance and also explaining the moral virtues.
So far, over 700 national and international works have been submitted to the second part of the festival in different formats, including documentary, film scripts, video clips as well as short fiction films.
Presided by Mahdi Azimi Mirabadi, the second part of the festival is covering ‘Main Competition’, ‘Resistance Prominent Martyr - Special Section’, ‘Best Film Competition in Absolute Sense’ and ‘Narrations of Pen - Scriptwriting Competition’ sections.
The Resistance International Film Festival has attracted the world's independent artists and filmmakers’ attention; and it has also provided the artists and filmmakers from all over the world with the principles, ideals, and values of the Islamic Revolution.
