‘The Silhouettes’ is the story of an Afghan family who live in Iran. They left Afghanistan 40 years ago to come and live in Iran.
The film shows how the son of the family wants to move back to Afghanistan to live and work there, but his family does not approve.
The flick has already participated at a number of global events and won awards, including the ‘Docs in Progress’ award at the Karlovy Vary Int’l filmfest in the Czech Republic and a Special Mention at the Int’l filmfest of Vision du Reel in Switzerland.
The Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival is themed on mental health.
This year’s edition of the event is slated for October 15-25.
