Iran actor Golzar contracts coronavirus

Well-known Iranian actor Mohammad-Reza Golzar has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

Golzar, after a week of self-quarantine, was hospitalized for further care and treatment.

According to the media, the actor’s health is improving.

The renowned actor first gained fame as a guitarist in a popular music band named Aryan.

He made his cinematic debut with Iraj Qaderi’s 'Sam and Narges' in 2000 and gained a nation-wide fame as an actor with movies such as 'The Last Supper', 'Poisonous Honey', 'Coma', 'Boutique', and 'Ice Flower'.

He has acted in blockbusters such as 'Ceasefire', 'Flying Crow', 'Crazy for Leili', 'Six and Five', 'You and I', 'Atomic-Heart Mother', and 'Salaam Mumbai'.
