Spanish fest to showcase Iran’s film

Iranian feature film ‘Parva’ is slated to participate in the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Lieida Visual Art in Spain.

Directed by Mehran Mahdavian, the feature film will make its global premiere by joining the competition at the Cinema del Mon section of the fest’s 11th edition.

‘Parva’ is about a young man named Khosrow Amiri. Khosrow who is now in his early 30s does not have a good job. He does his best to change his job conditions and doing so he faces some challenges.

Asieh Soltani, Vahid Mirzabeigi, Mehrdad Bakhshi, Farzad Baqeri, Zeinab Shabani, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Gohari are some of the cast members of the flick.

The Festival Internacional de Cinema de Lieida Visual Art consists of three main sections, which are Cinema of the World (Official section), Cinefutur (New talent) and somCinema (for Catalan Producers).

This year’s edition of the event is scheduled to be held October 29-November 8.
