Iran actress urges fans to take COVID seriously

Iranian star Laleh Eskandari has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, urging fans to take the COVID-19 respiratory disease seriously.

Eskandari took to Instagram to share the news that she had been diagnosed with coronavirus.

The 44-year-old actress also urged her fans to take the coronavirus “seriously."

She also expressed concern about the health of the cast and crew of her new series, with whom she was in close contact over the past days.

Eskandari was the latest Iranian star to test positive for the virus.

Earlier this week, Iranian actors Mohammad-Reza Golzar and Navid Mohammadzadeh announced that they had been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

Eskandari made her debut as an actress in 'Born in the Month of Mehr' in 1999.

She has appeared in several movies as well as TV series, including 'In the Eye of the Storm', which was aired by ifilm English TV channel.
