‘Angels Do Not Die’ to vie at Early Bird

Iranian short film ‘Angels Do Not Die’ has been named as an official selection for the special edition of the Early Bird International Student Film Festival in Bulgaria.

‘Angels Do Not Die’, written and directed by Alireza Biglari, was selected as one of the films which will be screened at the competition program of the Early Bird 2020 Special Quarantine Edition.

The eight-minute film will take part in the festival’s Fiction category.

‘Angels Do Not Die’ is about the sacrifices of the health workers who are at the frontlines in the fight against coronavirus.

The upcoming edition of the Early Bird International Student Film Festival will take place online on November 1-2.

The special edition of the festival will feature “films made in or inspired by quarantine, encouraging Bulgarian and international students to be creative despite the limitations of the four walls”, reads an online submission platform.
