Iranian short film ‘The Rotation’ has been named as an official selection for the MikroFAF- International festival of DIY and independent short films in Serbia.
Hazhir Asadi’s film will compete at the 11th edition of MikroFAF next week.
‘The Rotation’ is about two tribes who are engaged in a war due to a dispute over the possession of the sun in the sky.
The war led to the destruction of the sun and the eruption of a volcano.
The lava left the members of the two tribes dead and formed a new sun.
“Several centuries pass and the humans are still in a war to claim the sun in the sky,” a synopsis for the film reads.
Earlier reports said Farnoush Abedi’s ‘Malakout’ will also participate at the Serbian festival.
The 11th edition of MikroFAF will be held in a digital format on November 13 to 15.
