Iranian short ‘Life’ to go to Italy

Iranian short flick ‘Life’ has been selected to compete at the 17th edition of the accordi @ Disaccordi International Film Festival in Italy.

Written and directed by Mohammad Mohammadian, ‘Life’ is an experimental short film made in black and white.

The short film’s duration is just four seconds to show that life is very short and time runs so fast.

Influenced by the late Iranian grandmaster Abbas Kiarostami, Mohammadian has worked as a director, screenwriter, film editor, film producer, photographer and graphic designer.

He has directed six short films and documentaries, including ‘Agnes Varda’, ‘Only Five Minutes’, ‘Zaz: Mind Your Tongue’, and ‘The Endless River’.

The Italian festival accordi @ Disaccordi aims to unite the nations through the language of short film.

This edition of the event will host 127 short films from 27 countries to will compete in six sections.

The 2020 edition of the event will be held online on November 10-21.
