Poland to host ‘Life Gone with the Wind’

Iranian short film ‘Gone with the Wind’ has been selected to compete at the 11th ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival in Poland.

The short title narrates the story of an old woman who is reminded of her unfinished and bitter childhood dreams by a kite that is flying over a tree in her yard.

The film is co-directed by Siavash Saedpanah and Amir Gharibi, and written by Omid Gharibi.

The cast includes Asiyeh Moradizar and Dina Arshadi.

The short film has participated in a number of international festivals, including the 11th London Kurdish Film Festival in the UK, the 2020 edition of the International Pathological Film Festival in Italy, the 2020 edition of the International Pathological Film Festival in Italy and the 13th SEFF-Smaragdni eco film festival in Croatia.

According to the ŻUBROFFKA official website, “The festival, which has evolved from a small intimate event to the largest film event in north-eastern Poland, is open and borderless, respects diversity, is a meeting place for open creators, with a sense of humor and those who value nature and its creations”.

The 11th edition of the polish festival will be held on December 2-6, 2020.
