The 15-minute film tells the story of a high school girl who is stuck in a weird circle of drug dealing.

The cast list for ‘Exam’ includes Hadis Miramini, Sadaf Asgari, Masih Kazemi, and Elaheh Afshari.

The flick has already gone on screen at a number of global events, including the Tampere Film Festival in Finland, as well as the Palm Springs International ShortFest and the Port Land International Film Festival, both in the US.

Haddad’s flick won awards such as the Special Jury Award for Best Actor at the Sundance Film Festival in the US, the best short at the Creteil International Women’s Film Festival in France, and the best live action short film at the Tirana International Film Festival in Albania.

The Amarcort Film Festival is dedicated to the late great Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini.

This year’s edition of the event is slated for November 24-29.
