‘Talker’ wins award at Faludi Int’l Festival in Hungary

Iranian short flick ‘Talker’ has won an award at the 23rd edition of the Faludi International Film Festival in Hungary.

'Talker' by Mehrshad Ranjbar, which experienced its second international presence at the Faludi festival, grabbed the best short feature award at the event, held online on November 18-21.  

The 13-minute film tells the story of an old woman who has taken care of her sick husband for many years, but an incident disturbs the order of her life.

The cast list of the short film includes Maryam Nourafkan and Abbas Jalallou.

'Talker' is the recipient of the best film award at the 2020 Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF) in Albania.

The Faludi International Film Festival is an attempt to promote amateur filmmakers. It is also a photo competition which includes professional creators.

Of the 368 films participating in the festival, 52 films were selected by the selection committee to compete in the short film, documentary, experimental, and student sections of the 23rd edition of the event.
