Farnoush Abedi’s acclaimed short animation will join the competition at the Argentinean event, which is dedicated to short films from around the world.

‘Malakout’ participated in a number of film events such as the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Mexico, the Brooklyn International Film Festival, the Capital City Film Festival, both in the US, and the Galactic Imaginarium Film Festival in Spain.
It has won several awards, including the Special Mention Short award at the Silk Road International Film Festival in Ireland and the Best Animation award at the Black Country Horror Shorts Film Festival in the UK.
‘The Other’ is the other Iranian short film to take part in the Orange Shorts Festival this year.
The Argentinean event, set for November 30-December 12, is an international short film festival that seeks to connect filmmakers from all over the world and choose the most outstanding titles in each category.
