Hungarian fest awards ‘Grand Daughter’

The 2020 edition of the Blue Danube Film Festival (BDFF) in Hungary has awarded Iranian short flick ‘The Grand Daughter’.

Co-directed by Mohsen Habibi and Mostafa Daryadar, the short flick won the award for Super Short Film at the 4th edition of the Hungarian event.

‘The Grand Daughter’ follows the story of a young girl who enters the house of someone affected by a virus.

Nastaran Vaziri and Zahra Esmaeeli are the cast members of the short film.

BDFF is a short film festival that showcases independent films from all over the world. The festival encourages creativity and experimentation, according to the event’s website.

This year’s edition of the Blue Danube Film Festival was held in November.
