‘Warehouse’ grabs award at GIMFA

Iranian short flick ‘Warehouse’ has grabbed an award at the Gralha International Monthly Film Awards (GIMFA) in Brazil.

‘Warehouse’ brought Hamoun Seyyedi the Best Actor of Short Film award at the Brazilian festival, the GIMFA announced on Tuesday.

Directed by Hossein Torkjoush, the film revolves around an incident, which occured in a waste paper warehouse and made all workers there suspect each other.

Besides Seyyedi, the cast list of the film includes Ali Yaqoubi, Mohammad-Reza Helalzadeh, Odin Roshan, Fazel Qannadi, Ali Pilehvar, Shiva Sarmast, Vahideh Akbari-Nasab, Morteza Hosseini-Rad, Vahid Baqeri, and Hamed Korivand.

The GIMFA is a monthly film award that aims to “promote the best of world cinema”, the event’s website reads.

All the winners will receive a “winner's laurel and a high quality certificate”, it adds.
